All\u00ed vimos furgonetas totalmente equipadas con campanas de extracci\u00f3n, mesas de acero inoxidable, c\u00e1maras de fr\u00edo\u2026 \u00a1y encima vend\u00edan una comida incre\u00edble! As\u00ed que en 2010 escribimos nuestro primer proyecto serio de food truck aunque se qued\u00f3 en un caj\u00f3n hasta que, en 2014, animados por otros proyectos que estaban apareciendo en la Pen\u00ednsula, decidimos hacer realidad nuestro sue\u00f1o.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2) \u00bfDe d\u00f3nde viene el nombre de vuestro food truck?<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pretende ser un juego entre el verbo \u201cTo pick up\u201d, es decir, comida para recoger en la caravana y el modelo de furgoneta americano \u201cPickup\u201d. De este cerdo, que es similar al ib\u00e9rico, se saca la carne para hacer las sobrasadas de porc negre, conocidas por ser de mayor calidad y gran untuosidad. Nosotros, con el porc negre, hacemos desde gyozas hasta tacos mexicanos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">5) \u00bfC\u00f3mo os imagin\u00e1is el mundo del street food dentro de cinco a\u00f1os?<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nuestro objetivo no es que un food truck pueda estacionar donde quiera. Simplemente nos gustar\u00eda que los ayuntamientos estuviesen abiertos a celebrar una vez al mes festivales al aire libre en parques y zonas p\u00fablicas para dinamizar las ciudades, sin que eso tuviese que implicar peleas con el sector de la restauraci\u00f3n o problemas burocr\u00e1ticos absurdos. \u00a1Ah! Pues bien, en nuestra segunda incursi\u00f3n a la Pen\u00ednsula para un festival de food trucks, cogimos uno de esos barcos a Valencia y a la media hora de estar en alta mar, tuvimos que ir a rescatar al otro ferry que tambi\u00e9n iba a Valencia porque estaba en llamas. Ninguna de las personas que iba en ese barco sufri\u00f3 da\u00f1os pero los cientos de camiones, furgonetas y coches que transportaba quedaron reducidos a cenizas. El ver aquel desastre nos hizo ser conscientes de que pod\u00edamos haberlo perdido todo. Solo con haber escogido el ferry de la otra compa\u00f1\u00eda, todo nuestro sue\u00f1o se habr\u00eda ido al traste.
